I met you on the weekend at your sister’s hockey game. I am a friend of your mom’s (we met a short time ago through hockey). Your mom shared a bit about you and what you are doing because in a conversation I had with her I shared a bit about myself and what I was doing. You and I share some common interests and more importantly I think we share a “personality”. You remind me of myself (the best part of me!). I share much of the same values and “simple pleasures” as you… it comes through in your writing so clearly.

So, I just wanted to say “hello” and to say “thank you” for sharing your stories and reflections on your blog. You are a beautiful girl inside and out with a bright future and a kind soul. I would love to chat over a coffee sometime when you are home!

In the meantime, savour every day and know that some “old” friend of your mom’s thinks the world of you!
