I am currently attending University in hopes of becoming an English teacher. I love to photograph and write about my travels. Music is my passion and the people in my life are my everything. I think simplicity is beautiful, destiny is not just something the mind has invented, a miss is as good as a mile, and love- not to steal the light from my fabulous four friends ( Ringo, John, Paul, and George)- is all you need. Aretha Franklin is still one of my favorites and I’m sure if I lived in New York City, you’d find me in the borough of Manhattan. I think sometimes words aren’t meant to be heard but they can be felt. I believe kisses are meant to be shared when words become superfluous, happiness is to be created and not entirely pursued, and laughter can cure anything. Anywhere by the ocean will do just fine. My words are my lyrics and these are my songs. I hope you dance.

I met you on the weekend at your sister’s hockey game. I am a friend of your mom’s (we met a short time ago through hockey). Your mom shared a bit about you and what you are doing because in a conversation I had with her I shared a bit about myself and what I was doing. You and I share some common interests and more importantly I think we share a “personality”. You remind me of myself (the best part of me!). I share much of the same values and “simple pleasures” as you… it comes through in your writing so clearly.
So, I just wanted to say “hello” and to say “thank you” for sharing your stories and reflections on your blog. You are a beautiful girl inside and out with a bright future and a kind soul. I would love to chat over a coffee sometime when you are home!
In the meantime, savour every day and know that some “old” friend of your mom’s thinks the world of you!
